Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Yes, Im doing it...I'm picking my favorite to win. What's wrong with that, Jimmy Spencer used to do that all the time wit Tony Stewart...LOL. Nah but really, Dale Jr. has been so good this year at Hendrick Motorsports, and this is DAYTONA. Sure, he only finished 9th in the 500 but thats more all or nothing. People want to win the 500 and do some crazy stuff in the last 5 laps. Truth is you never know at Daytona, but the Hendrick cars are usually domintating at Daytona, and so is Dale Jr., so put him in a HMS car and see what happens! I just think that Junior is a reliable pick this week.
Jeff Gordon
Oh noooo Im being biased...NOT. Jeff is a good restrictor-plate driver. Jeff has been getting some good finishes in the last few weeks, it's probably only a matter of time before things start going his way. I think this would be a likley race for Jeff to get his first win of the season. Besides, I am pretty sure this is the PEPSI 400? So If you don't like Dale or whatever, Jeff is the MAN!
Kyle Busch
Ugh It makes me feel sick to have to pick Kyle at Daytona....
But he leads laps and wins races, pick him if you want,
Thats all the good things I will say about him, If I said anymore good things about Kyle my friends would be taking me to the hospital, thinking that somethings wrong with me.
Well I didn't want to do this, but I just can't help it.
Juan Pablo Montoya: Most likley to be wrecked by Kyle
Ok ok, sorry I was trying to be nice to Kyle this week but I just had to do it. LOL yes the only reason I am picking Juan this week IS because of what he did to Kyle(although I would say he'd do well this week, If he wasnt the object of someones revenge)But...WOOHOO! See Juan, that dude on Wind Tunnel was right, you are gonna sell more t-shirts!!! I think Kyle would like to get revenge if he gets the chance,(especailly if he heard Juans post-race interveiw) and I dont think Juan will let him get away with it. Let the drama begin! Pleeaaase, Nascar is in need of some excitment!

Juan, a man for the Jr. fan...
Haha well, all I have to say Is WOW! Thanks Juan, thanks for finally giving Kyle what he deserved. He had it coming. I don't typically support drivers that wreck people on purpose, and I have never been much of a Juan Pablo Montoya fan, but today I am. I hope Kyle seeks revenge, because I do not think that Juan will put up with his stuff, and Id love to watch the grudge play out. AND Juan admitted that he did it on purpose WOOHOO that was great. Sorry If this offended anyone.
And Sorry I have not updated this week, I have been a bit busy. :]
not that anyone reads this anyway....sigh

Well, It's Over
LSU's baseball season is over...
I lied we didnt win.
And I probably won't know who does,
See I am a LSU fan, not a baseball fan.

Fantasy Drivers:Infineon
TONY STEWART:
Well Tony is a pretty good road racer, so I'd say he's not a bad pick...but if you are going by recent success, Look for Tony to do well and almost win, and then some freak accident happens that puts him out of contention. He will then be interviewed and most likely take the blame for whatever happened, even it it really wasn't his fault, but make sure you listen for the bits of sarcasm in his voice. (which I believe thats his way of showing his anger now...except now the non-"smoke" fans can't get mad at him for not taking the blame.)
Carl Edwards:
Carl has been finishing well, I think that he would be a reliable pick for a good top ten, I just don't really connect Carl Edwards with Road Racer in my mind...but that's okay Carl is in my mind as the Atlanta or Nashville kind of driver...oh yeah and the most muscular driver too. *wink*
Jeff Gordon
I know, I know if you watch NASCAR you are probably scared to pick Jeff because he hasn't quite been having a great year. It's okay. I think he will run well and lead some laps. (now he hasn't been lucky so he might get wrecked or something) but I hope to see him succeed this weekend. Now that Jimmie, and the ever popular Dale Jr. have won for HMS in 2008 he's getting hungry for a win!) This would be a good week to use Jeff as your top driver.
Robby Gordon-Dark Horse
Haha if you don't regularly watch NASCAR you are probably like "Who the hell is Robby Gordon? Is he Jeff Gordon's overshadowed brother?"- Uh well first of all No, he's not. And secondly, Robby could very likely get the pole, which is a reason for picking him, because that can earn you some extra points. He will most likely be racing up front this week and should finish well...uh unless he starts getting annoyed by a someone, then he will probably give them a bump and they may very well return the favor...and then it will start this whole big thing. Especially if he gets wrecked out (yeah just watch the interviews afterwards). Pah either way it's worth the chance, you wont have to use up one of your more reliable picks, that you need for other tracks.
Ohhhh AND ONE MORE, I nominate:
Kyle Busch:Most Likely to Cause A wreck.
Being that Kyle hasn't won in two whole races, he is probably starting to feel quite desperate. See he was finishing top five in all the races, but then all he did was complain about how he should've/could've won...now what Kyle...you still don't like second place...fine take 43rd and 13th instead. But, having all this pressure on him to get a good finish again will probably give him more of a reason to race hard, and probably end up getting into somebody. (plus there are plenty of turns at this track to hit someone in) Well I hope that he's the one who has to deal with the wrecked car this time. And if he does, I feel bad for the person involved, because I'm almost sure he won't take the blame for it, even if you are able to see his tires turning the wrong way...seriously. Just ask Jimmy Spencer.

Way To Geaux!!!
What a comeback LSU had! I just think it must have been meant to be. I mean it just seems like we have been put in positions to come from behind and been in must win situations..and when it matters the tigers just end up pulling it off some how. It was great. :)

Let's Go Tigers, Let's Go...To the loser's bracket?!
Well UNC defeated LSU 8-4 today in their first game of the college world series. So we will have to wait see what happens from here. I could have sworn that it was my friends fault that LSU was losing,I told her to stop watching the game TWICE! But, I guess that was just my crazy superstition, or maybe it's just fun to have someone to blame.(yeah I think that's it) I'm a little disappointed but UNC is a good team and LSU still has games to play. At least they are in Omaha, I'm sure there are many baseball fans that would love for their team to be there, even If they were in the loser's bracket. So keep on watching!

Dale Jr. gets the Long Anticipated Win!

It's the day that many fans and probably many members of the media have been waiting for...Dale Earnhardt Jr. has pulled off his first win of the 2008 NASCAR season and broken his losing streak that had lasted more than a full season. He has performed well this year, he has spent much of his first season at Hendrick Motorsports third in the Sprint Cup point standings, and now he has finally broken through with a win, in the fifteenth race of the season. He was also able to gain some ground on the evil Kyle Busch (haha ok, just kidding guys...I'm sure you'll get my views of Kyle soon enough) who is the points leader and finished thirteenth in the race in Michigan today. It's all really exciting...DALE JR. won his first race at HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS! His success with the new team is impressive, and I believe that his first win in the 88 was a big milestone, and you can look to see more and more success coming from Junior. So it was a close one, so it was fuel mileage that won it...its in the books as a win, and as much as the non-Jr fans don't like it, it counts. I just had a feeling he would win today, honestly I did, I texted my friend last night and said "Jr will win tomorrow on father's day" that's an exact quoted from my sent messages. I just had a feeling!
